Seek-Chat is a free chat tool that runs in your browser. You open the page, type a question, and read the answer. There is no sign-up form, no email verification, and no account to manage. That is the whole product, and keeping it that small is deliberate.
Who runs this
Seek-Chat is built and operated by Thinkly for Digital Business (thinkly.business), a small digital company. Thinkly pays for the hosting and the model usage that keeps this page answering, and is the party responsible for what appears here. If something on the site is wrong, broken, or unclear, it is our problem to fix — write to [email protected] and a person will read it.
We are not DeepSeek
This point matters enough to state plainly: Seek-Chat has no relationship with DeepSeek. We are not owned by them, funded by them, partnered with them, or endorsed by them. DeepSeek did not review this site and has no say in what it does.
What we do is send your message to DeepSeek’s public API — the same paid interface any developer can sign up for — and show you what comes back. We are a customer of that API, nothing more. The models, their capabilities, their pricing and their limitations are entirely DeepSeek’s work, and the names DeepSeek uses for them belong to DeepSeek.
The practical consequence: we cannot open, recover, close, or look inside a DeepSeek account. We cannot reset a DeepSeek password, refund a DeepSeek invoice, raise a DeepSeek support ticket, or find out why an official DeepSeek service is down. If you need any of those things, you need DeepSeek, not us.
Why we built it
Most AI chat sites ask for an account before they show you anything. For a quick question — rewrite this sentence, explain this error, sketch this function — that is a lot of friction for very little in return. We wanted a page that answers immediately and forgets you afterwards.
The trade-off is honest and worth knowing before you rely on it. Because there is no account, there is nothing tied to you: no saved profile, no synced history across devices, no way for us to restore a conversation you lost. The conversation is not saved in your browser and not saved on our server. It lives in the tab you have open and is gone when you close or reload it, and we cannot get it back for you. Your messages are sent to DeepSeek to generate replies, and what DeepSeek retains after that is governed by its terms, not ours.
How it actually works
When you press send, your message and the recent turns of the current conversation travel from your browser to our server, and from there to DeepSeek’s API. DeepSeek generates the reply, our server streams it back to your browser, and the exchange is over. We keep no permanent copy of the conversation.
Two DeepSeek V4 models are available from the model switcher, labeled in the chat as Fast, the default, tuned for speed on everyday questions, and Pro, which is slower but stronger on longer reasoning and harder code. There are fair-use limits — 5 messages a minute, 30 an hour, 100 a day — which exist so one heavy user cannot exhaust the shared budget for everyone else.
The privacy policy sets out the data flow in full, and the FAQ covers the everyday questions about limits, models and what the tool will not do.
What we will not pretend
- The model can be confidently wrong. It has no live connection to the web, it cannot open a link you paste, and it does not know what happened this morning. Check anything that matters.
- We do not offer a paid tier, a guarantee of uptime, or a promise that the service will exist next year. It is free, and free comes with no service level.
- The site is paid for by display advertising served by Google, and it uses Google Analytics to measure traffic. Both are about page visits. We do not sell your prompts, and we do not build advertising profiles from them — what you type in the chat is never passed to Google or to any advertiser. See the privacy policy for what we do keep and the cookie policy for how to opt out.
- Seek-Chat is a general assistant. It is not a doctor, a lawyer, an accountant, or a substitute for one. See the disclaimer.
