Seek-Chat is primarily a tool, not a magazine. Most of what you see on this site is the chat itself. But the pages around it — the explanations, the reference material, the policies you are reading now — are written by people, and this page sets out the standards those people work to. It is published by Thinkly for Digital Business, which carries final responsibility for everything here.

The line between the tool and the site

Two very different kinds of text appear on seek-chat.com, and we do not want them confused:

• Chat output is generated on demand by a DeepSeek model in response to what you typed. Nobody reviews it before you see it, nobody can, and it carries no editorial warranty at all. See the disclaimer.
• Site pages — this one, the about page, the policies, and any reference or explanatory material — are written and checked by a human editor before publication, and they are the subject of this policy.

How we write site pages

A page is drafted by a person who has actually used the thing being described. Claims about how Seek-Chat behaves — rate limits, which models are available, what is stored where, how the regional check works — are taken from the running configuration and checked against it, not written from memory or assumption. Where a number appears in these pages, it is the number the software is actually using.

Claims about DeepSeek itself are sourced from DeepSeek’s own published documentation, and we say when we last checked. We do not restate marketing copy as fact, and we do not describe capabilities we have not seen work.

We may use AI assistance while drafting — it would be odd to run this tool and pretend otherwise. Nothing is published without a person reading it, checking the factual claims, and taking responsibility for it. AI-assisted is not the same as unreviewed, and no page here is unreviewed.

Independence

We have no commercial relationship with DeepSeek beyond paying for API usage like any other customer. DeepSeek does not review, approve, fund or influence anything on this site. When we describe a limitation of the models, that is our own assessment and nobody has asked us to soften it.

The site carries display advertising served by Google. Those advertisements are selected by Google, not by us, and no advertiser sees an article before it is published or has any say in what it says. There is no sponsored content, no paid placement and no affiliate arrangement anywhere on the site; if that ever changes, any commercial content will be labeled as such on the page where it appears, and it will not be allowed to alter what the rest of the site says. Corrections

We will get things wrong. When we do, we would rather hear about it than not.

Report an error to [email protected] with the page URL and the specific claim you believe is wrong. A supporting source makes it much faster to act on. We aim to acknowledge within a few working days.

A factual error is corrected in place and the updated date at the top of the page is changed. Where the correction is significant — a claim reversed rather than a detail tightened — we note what changed at the foot of the page rather than quietly editing it away. Typographical fixes and clarifications that do not change meaning are made without a note.

We do not delete a page to make an error disappear. If a page is withdrawn because it is no longer accurate and cannot be repaired, we say so.

Keeping pages current

Anything describing how Seek-Chat works is checked when the tool changes — a new model, a different limit, a change to what is stored — and the affected pages are updated at the same time. Policy pages carry an effective or updated date, and that date is the honest date of last review, not a timestamp refreshed to look active.

What we will not publish

• Anything implying that Seek-Chat is an official DeepSeek service, or that we can help with DeepSeek accounts.
• Instructions for signing in to, recovering, or buying access to someone else’s DeepSeek account.
• Model output published as verified fact without a human checking it first.
• Benchmark numbers or test results we have not produced ourselves or cannot attribute to a named source.
• Content written purely to rank in search, with no use to the person reading it.
